My reaction was, with all the technology we have today, why would a company think they could get away with a stunt like this?

Unless they simply wanted the publicity, negative or not.

This kind of thing will make me cancel my service. I don’t watch much anyhow and when I do I DVR specifically so I don’t have to watch ads. I wondered how long it would be before big business figured that out. I’ll definitely be paying closer attention when I fast-forward now. Wow. I’m shaking my head at this.

How many others feel the same way as you do?

I mean, the Food Network currently has a good reputation, without having to damage it somewhat by stooping to something like this.
